Each Path Light is finished with an elegant glass crystal ornament and white LED light. The easily accessable on/off switch and battery location is inside a housing near the bottom of the stake. Just install the battery, turn on the switch, push into the ground and you are ready to go. The Crystal Path Lights are ornamental and are not meant to replace safety lighting.
